This is still ongoing. Whenever we call to report these issues, the response varies widely. Some policemen will reluctantly ticket the trucks,but quite a few have told us to stop calling because they aren't going to do anything about it. The truck drivers urinate in the road, throw trash all over the place, and continue to block the street. If we ask them to at least turn the trucks off, so they are not disturbing others, they tell us they threaten to kill us.
