Description

The traffic signal which controls the intersection of Creedmoor Rd and Glenwood Ave pays no attention at all to the traffic before dawn. I am there every morning about 5 am, and the light will be green for Glenwood traffic for quite a long time when NO CARS are visible in either direction. Then, when the signal changes, it gives the green to the turn lanes even when there are no cars in those lanes. The new intersections on Creedmoor (Lynn Rd and Milbrook Rd) are smarter than this!

also asked...
Q. What is the type of signal?
A. Vehicular
Q. Please describe the nature of the issue. (i.e timing, signal head twisted, etc)
A. Timing - the signal stays green for a long time when there are no cars anywhere in sight. This is a problem in the middle of the night for cars waiting for the light to change.
