I live on this block...a traffic study is not needed. Parking enforcement is needed. People going to this Dunkin' Donuts double park, park in the cross walk, at hydrants, and in driveways daily. The parking issues, traffic issues, and pedestrian safety issues on this corner are known issues. They are especially problematic in the morning, at lunch time, and on the weekends. Tickets are never given out. Have parking enforcement employees stationed there daily during these peak times issuing tickets to those illegally parked and the problem will be greatly reduce.

Building real curb extensions in concrete, adding planters, and other physical barriers would be more effective & cost less than having a city employee guard the crosswalk 12 hours per day.

Driver's are just going to double park next to curb extension if one is installed. Causing even more traffic then we already have on Palisade Ave and maybe an accident. We've gad quite a few on this corner already. Who's going to maintain this curb extension? I don't want to look at dead plants and more garbage caught up on the corner then I already do. Parking enforcement continues to drive by illegally parked cars on both sides of this street/corner daily without giving ticketing anyone. Why?

Non stop illegal parking here. Even if the parking authority people (that are on payroll already) zipping around with the sweeper could give a toot or a ticket to these illegal parkers it would help. As it is, the people paid to enforce parking rules don’t actually enforce parking rules unless a citizen reports it (and even then it’s 50/50 as to whether someone will respond). Seen the buggies just pass by illegal and dangerously parked cars all the time…just get them to do the job they are paid to do for starters!
