Description

The city came out over the summer and put cold patch on some of the pot holes in the street as well as replaced a small portion of curbing on the south side of Emma and Edna. The entire street is in desperate need of a resurfacing and new curbing. The road floods when it rains. The approaches flood and are in some cases non existent, and it's embarrassing when there is more grass on the road than in the yards. Yes that was an exaggeration but there is no demarcation of where the yard ends and the street starts.

It was also brought to my attention that the street does not get plowed in the winter. This is a major problem as a tax payer because if someone get hurt do to the city neglecting to plow and or salt the street the city could be liable and have to pay lawyers for a lawsuit. I don't think that's a good use of resources in a city that people are starting to put a lot of money back into.

I know the street can't get repaved this year do to winter and budget issues but can we get Emmas street completely replaced in 2023?

The snow is a yearly issue. Can we please make sure Emma street is on the plowing schedule for 2022-2023.
