We would like to get an idea of how to have curbing replaced at our residence. We have lived in our home for coming up on 18 years. We sort of thought that there would be some kind of plan to replace the curbing out front over time, but there has never been any indication from the city. However, there has been a lot of other action in front of our house over the years. Around 2008, Oakley was closed off down to 21st to replace a sewer line, I think. The effort was tough on curbs down on our end, and as a result the curbs were replaced in front of the house to our south on the west side and the curbs across the street on the east side. Ours were not.

A couple of years ago crews came through and dug a trench next to the curbs on the west side in front of the houses which was less than kind to the curbs, but nothing was said about replacing the curbs that needed it.

It appears that the curbs have never been replaced since installation. It looks like there have been lots of efforts to make repairs on the curbing in front of our house by residents over the years. We wonder if we should say anything but then crews just came down Oakley last Summer and replaced the curbs and drive entrances between 19th and 20th on the west side.
