The intersection of Ashton and Trousdale is extremely dangerous for cars turning on Trousdale from Ashton. Cars from Ashton have poor visibility of uphill traffic on Trousdale and block pedestrian crosswalk to get a better view of the road. This intersection is crossed by 100s of students/parents during school hours. The overall traffic safety on Trousdale near Franklin elementary is absolutely abysmal and I worry everyday that some accident will happen. The only long term solution to safety here significant traffic calming by reducing number of lanes, adding a bike lane and aggressively ticket drivers rolling through the stop signs or not waiting for pedestrians to cross.
