Description

The Thorndike Field parking lot floods during and after heavy rain where the parking lot connects to the bikepath and Varnum St. Either installing an extra drain basin at that location or installing the same drainage solution already installed at the end of the parking lot. This solution includes digging down several feet, filling with stone and capped off with a plastic grid, allowing the water to naturally seep into the ground.
