Dangerous traffic conditions on Columbia Road. For the past few years multiple residents have complained to both the county and HCPD regarding dozens of commercial vehicles being allowed to park along Columbia Road. Bicyclists and pedestrians have been impacted as bicyclists and joggers cannot access the roadway for fear of being struck. Residents have made multiple calls and have me with HCPD to address issue. They say it is a county issue to install bike lanes or signs that indicate "no commercial vehicles" This is also a sight issue for residents exiting the communities along this stretch of roadway. After several posts to this sight the county said in 2020 that bike lanes would be installed, however to date this still has not been addressed. Both HCPD and the County continue to point to each other to address this issue. This is impacting the safety of residents who live in this neighborhood. We are asking that the county PLEASE finally address this issue before there is a tragic consequence.
