Description
Invasive bright blinking light throughout the night by business at the corner of Vinewood and Greenspan. This light has been in use over the last 6-9 months and is very distracting in the nighttime. Light comes through the front windows on Vinewood and back windows on W Grand blvd.
Incessant blinking all night and excessively bright...this is light pollution in a residential area. Please advise DPD of this disregard for neighborhood sanctity and residential wellbeing.

There is an ordinance so you can call BSEED to have the violation inspected:
the General Illumination Standard in the Detroit Zoning Ordinance, which notes “All reasonable measures shall be taken to ensure that the off-site spillover of light and nightglow are minimized to the greatest extent possible.”

Please call BSEED department and ask for an inspector to determine whether these sound and light additions are permitted.
