This is looking towards intersection of Bal Harbour Dr and Shamrock in Venice/Sarasota , county this past week heavy rain (APR 2023) Where you see the car the water is about 10 inches deep and over flows the road edges. This area is not in a flood zone but during Hurricane Ian this area flooded so bad we got 1 - 4 inches of rain into out ground floor condos. The storm drains between the 2 churches at the corner of this intersection drain very slow—it must be clogged drains as I checked both streets W and E pof Bal Harbour and neither had standing water. The county needs to come out and clean these storm drains and check to see if the drain has collapsed somewhere South of Shamrock running towards its drainage area. Also, Bal Harbour south of Lake Side Drive did not have standing water. We need this addressed before another Hurricane reeks havoc on us again..
