On Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 5:30 pm, I witnessed Tobie from Tobie's Jewelers on Washington Street literally using a dust mop and pan to sweep up broken glass, cigarette butts and other litter from the areas around her shop, and then dumping it all down the storm drain out front of 140 Washington Street over multiple trips. She has had the shop at this location for about 40 years. Has anyone instructed her that this is a bad thing to be doing?
