Description
The entire block looks like a cheese grater. Needs a full resurface. Impossible to scooter on for kids or adults. Also would be good to add a scooter lane as there are many kid schools nearby.

1) Between Warren and Washington the asphalt is bad.
2) And the rail road doesn't use the metal braces which are required for passing. Compare to how the rails are by Westin hotel crossing, 1 street up.
3) Entire Warren Street is horrible pavement except a tiny piece in front of Nimbis. Everything else is a hazard for bikes and kid scooters.

When we have giant cracks in the road, the following happens:
chunks of asphalt and stone are kicked up into the road and become a hazard. They are too big for the cleaner cars to pick up. And more is made daily.
JC doesn't get consistently frozen all winter. So water gets into the cracks and 3 months of weekly freeze cycles just destroy the street.
Secondly when those patches are made - they are highly uneven. And even then don't cover entire cracks half the time. And any snow plow rips a bunch of them out or up when they are installed wrong.

We understand the safety concerns. That area has multiple developments that have been staging construction on these streets which sped up the degradation of the streets. We are still waiting for all developments in the area to finish construction and pave their respective limits such as by Greene & 2nd, Provost (2nd to Morgan), and others who opened the road as they took legal responsibility for fixing the roads.
Once that happens or is anticipated to happen, we will see where we can fix the road efficiently via full repaves, pothole repair, or infrared repair.
As for the rail tracks, if it is the Light Rail, then that would fall under NJ Transit's jurisdiction.

Thanks, Anthony.
I know The One didn't pave that street after they built (Warren 2nd-to-1st) nor did Archives building (storage now). And it's been YEARS. Can you guys push on them?
Also, the BJs to Light Rail parking lot is totally destroyed. I know it's a private lot, but it's totally out of hand. Can't get a kid stroller through half of it.
That whole area is just a disaster.
Is there an estimated date on the completion of outside for the building on Warren between 1st and Bay? They seem to be progressing along.
