Description

Chain link fence that separated private property from the sidewalk along Raleigh Boulevard was torn down by driver several months ago, car was left abandoned on Joe Louis Ave with piles of fencing. The car and piles of fencing have since been removed but there is still significant damage to the remaining fencing and areas that are missing the fence altogether. This has created a safety issue for residents whose property was protected by that fence- there have been at least 3 occasions when pedestrians have climbed up the areas where the fence is missing and into our backyards. Most recently, this week, several thefts have taken place from our backyards- including tools from sheds and equipment off back porches from inside fenced in yards. Please help, Raleigh!!!!
