Warning to DeKalb Drivers: Driving on Rockbridge Road at your own risk. On Saturday, Sept. 2, while on Rockbridge Road that intersects with N. Hairston Road, I hit an unforeseen pothole that flattened my tire and damaged my rim!!!! Luckily, there was a nearby tire repair shop. The Manager informed me I was customer number 6. I called Department of Transportation and was given Stone Mountain City Hall number as well as another DeKalb County number. Naturally, I had to leave messages. Trying to get in touch with anyone in authority is equivalent to trying to reach City Hall. This is very frustrating. I would like the pothole fixed and have my tire replaced (good luck with that, I'm sure) but it's worth a try to let County officials know as taxpayers we expect safe roads.
