Description
There have been windows left open in the Burns School building for weeks in the dead of winter with temps in the low 20's on some nights. Some windows, a few facing Russ Street and on the inside corner have been open 24/7 since late December (written January 10) and others are opened wide during the day (one with a box fan in place) and closed at night.
Window-mounted air conditioners (one of which was running!) are left in place throughout the year, which is another huge waste of energy.
Thousands of dollars worth of energy are being wasted at Burns School. This is disgraceful.

13 windows were open last Sunday morning when temps were in the single digits.
Now, Saturday, January 21, fewer windows are open, but the ones in the initial photo and one nearby them on the inside corner (southwest side) of the school are still open. These windows have been open continuously since December.
