Good morning everyone it's not just a quick fix as putting the lights on flash, There are safety concerns as well. This is the main reason why the lights are there. The snow removal is one of them and that was cleared at osborne hill drive and then you have one lane at Marlborough road and Highland Avenue heading outbound. Often times i notice people sitting at that right turn on red holding everyone else to a stand still. Please exercise patience. I am conferring with our Engineer this afternoon. The traffic was fine this afternoon. Is there a way of perhaps changing the vehicle detection scheme so that if a vehicle simply drives over it and is not stationary for any period of time, it will not trip the light? It seems like the left turn arrow should turn green only when a car is stationary on the detector for perhaps 20-30 seconds.
