Description

I have noticed that DC taxi companies have been parking their vehicles for several days at a time in the vicinity of 19th and Swann NW. This is particularly frustrating when residents have to sometimes drive for 30-40 minutes to find open parking spots. One of these taxis does not have an RPP sticker; although, the other one does have an RPP zone 2 sticker. This is strange given the regulations on the RPP website which state that

"Commercial Vehicles*, buses, vehicles longer than twenty-two feet, and sightseeing vehicles are not eligible for residential parking permits.

* A motor vehicle displaying unremovable commercial advertising or insignia is considered a commercial vehicle.

Thank you for your help.
