I assume this comment refers to drivers turning from North Capitol southbound onto florida eastbound (not sure what street Eckington is). We experience the same issue regularly. This problem has worsened with construction on North Capitol at R. The traffic congestion and danger to both drivers and pedestrians is significant and seems doomed to eventually end with a dire outcome.

No, I am not referring to North Capitol. Eckington is the street just northeast of the Wendy's where the Fedex building is. The whole traffic flow of the north portion of the virtual circle around Wendy's (the intersections or Florida and NY Ave is horribly designed and unsafe.

Ahhh...Eckington Place. Gotcha. The same issue happens on North Capitol every evening, as well. We definitively need a cut and cover at the Wendy's intersection; probably at N. Cap and Fl., too! Thanks for sending this in!

I think even a little enforcement of the existing rules would go a long way.
