Description

With the construction happening on Walnut St Bridge, there's a safety concern with traffic. Cars entering Walnut St from 5th Ave has a blind spot to the left and the right. The concrete barrier from the bridge and the overgrown house on the right at 1554 Walnut St. Also from Pursley St to Hudson St on Walnut St, the center solid yellow line was taking up and replaced, which has confused driver's. I've witnessed near head on collisions because driver's think it's a one way at times. And with speed of vehicles. The posted speed limit is 35 mph. Some vehicles I'm pretty sure exceed that limit coming across the bridge. With school age kids living on both sides of the bridge, there's a very big concern. As the lanes will shift soon, the traffic will be alot closer to those houses along that route. There's a school bus stop at the corner of Hudson St and Walnut St.
