Description

When stopped in southbound lane of MacVicar at 12th St it is difficult to see if traffic is coming from the east on 12th. Vehicles parked in private drives or in parking lane on north side of 12th block the view. Very dangerous because you have to creep into the intersection before you can see the cross traffic and determine if it is safe to cross 12th or turn right onto 12th. Need to prohibit parking within a certain distance of the intersection.

It does provide a different view, but I have crossed at this location several times with no issues. We will be at several locations after all work is done and any adjustments can be made for any corrections.

Please put stop signs back at Macvicar and Oakley on 12th!!! Visibility of oncoming traffic is awful at both areas and I’ve watched so many near misses and also frequently sit in lines 8+ cars deep on either side just waiting to be able cross or turn. I have zero complaints about anything else with that project, but removing those stops was terrible.

1 how many wrecks before
2 compared to how many wrecks since
They will not answer that
Topeka only looks at one angle....and IT IS NOT PUBLIC SAFETY
