This is a major noise issue for the entire half block of 300 S. 3rd St. which is coming from a broken PECO man hole. The whole manhole is loose and in the video you can see it moving up and down after the bus goes over it.

I have attached a video showing the problem. The noise is so loud and constant that our 2 year old son keeps getting woken up throughout the night. A few of us have called PECO to report this issue (multiple times) with no results.
Please help!

I agree- this noisy broken cover is keeping me awake and I hear it throughout the day. It was brought to PECOs attention but wasn't repaired for some reason. Please fix ASAP!

protip: please be sure to create an independent ticket with 311, they work well with the streets department.

philly311 doesn't seem to work SCF much these days, and when they do there seems to be different procedures for different service providers (ie. can't/won't communicate with Fairmount Park, or the Philly PD).

it's good to provide a public record at SCF, but i've had the best results getting things fixed when a complaint is lodged directly with Philly311.

It is now fixed but only because we called the head of all PECO construction projects. It is a joke that PECO is now officially responding. This, plus a few of us tried to call in this request and they never even came out to check it out. So much for their customer service.
