Not to mention dangerous. Here’s another angle

Hi, you will need to get with either the city or the developer/property owners on this issue since the city is the ones that require and maintain the sidewalks and the developer that put in the steeper grade when they developed this property and tied their access into the state maintained road. Either the city or the developer would need to fix this issue. The city would have approved the plans.

The city said “This section of Main Street doesn’t belong to the City, it belongs to UDOT, so any changes made to the curbs or any equipment parked on the side of the road would also require a permit from UDOT.”

I left a message with Kaysville City Public Works/Street Dept to see how they want to handle this. I explained that this issue is with the access not our road and that we will not be doing anything about this on our road until a project comes through to repave that road. Even if that happens, this will not fix the steeper grade issue that the developer did to the access.
