Armando,
You should list this information in the description for SFDPW watch area so that our users can additionally report information through your system.
I generally call these in, but I'm glad to know that you can use the web for them. Ben, are you thinking what I'm thinking? Maybe embed the SFDPW form in an overlay? :)
Hey Joe,
Great suggestion. We are doing this for the city of New Haven and have had a few conversations with sf311 about this.
I hope that we can continue in that direction now that SF311 has gone web.
Thanks Armando,
I checked it out a minute ago. Looks good.
It would be great to integrate that form into our site so that you receive the alert the way you want it and the reporter gets to share a public record of the report with the rest of the city. In the case of graffiti we have seen that it is helpful for private citizens who are responsible for maintaining their own property to know that documentation of their lack of maintenance is public.
