Four months ago the town posted on this website they were monitoring this issue.

It has come to my attention that tenants residing in a camper located at 58 Kristin Rd have continued to occupy the premises despite a directive from the zoning inspector on February 21, 2024, requiring them to vacate the property by the end of April 2024.
As of May 1, 2024, the tenants are still living in the camper, which is in violation of town regulations. This situation not only poses potential safety and sanitation risks but also undermines the integrity of our community's zoning laws.
I urge the town to take appropriate action to enforce zoning regulations and address this issue promptly. It is essential to uphold the standards established for the welfare and well-being of all residents.

Our office is aware of the continued use of the camper on the property. We have spoken with the neighbor yesterday morning regarding the time they were allotted to relocate the tenants. At this time our office will be filing in Housing Court to review the case and decide on the best action to take. If there is danger to life and safety you may call the Police Department.

We have submitted a Housing Court complaint on Wednesday and now await a confirmation and hearing date. More information on that date will be available once we receive the court's response. If there is any additional documentation you wish to provide, we can submit it to the court in advance of the hearing.

We have received confirmation from the Southeast Housing Court that the hearing for this violation will be held on June 13th, 2024. Any documentation on this matter can be obtained at the Department of Inspectional Services upon request.
