Perhaps the police department should also take not of the drug traffic happening here as well. In recent weeks a black Jetta pulls up the teengage girl comes out get a bag of something, and goes back inside. Do we need to worry about this too in our quiet neighborhood? Last week someones car was egged. All stems from this house. Please do something!

The fact that the building you have photographed is STILL standing after all these years is a massive failure of government in Ansonia. That building has to be one of the worst eyesores downtown and nothing is done. Nothing.

It is a never ending battle with blight. Complained about 20 Condon Dr and not much changed. Broken fence and junk all over and10 Jason Wright Dr is rented and they don't cut grass and leave it a mess. Can't wait to leave this area. It has gone downhill the last 10 years. Why bother to call anyone.

What I'd like to say is, If anyone has a problem with "23 Beverly Drive" they can come knock on the front door & pay any problems with us personally. Thank you very much 😊

Well, Alderman Henri, now that "Teenage Girl" has invited you over (😉) to 23 Beverly Drive I assume you are going to accept her invitation and knock on her door.
Please let us know of any actionable items you may find. As our Alderman, it is good to know that you are on top of this "Teenage Girl", but you need to go deeper than just blight. There is plenty of actionable activity going on here if you look.
We all await your report and steps taken to protect our declining property values. 😕

Young lady, everyone on the street at one time or another has helped you guys in more than one way. Take pride in your property, just like the rest of us. Start by cutting your grass, raking the leaves and picking up the loose garbage. Not wait for others to do it for you. There are young children within an earshot of your property. Summer nights are upon us. We do not want to hear your loud, foul mouth screaming at your parents, siblings or the neighbors, when attention is brought on to your property. Have some respect, not only for yourself but your neighbors as well. My dear, it is you that should be going door to door, apologizing to the neighbors. Mr. Alderman, bring a Tyvec suit with you, as you will need it for sanitary reasons. Lastly, you'd might want to reconsider stealing you fathers car and go joy riding alone or with your friends. Think we are not watching? Guess again...Haven't seen the black car lately, but rest assure those actions as well have already been brought to the attention of Ansonia's Finest. Well first off, I cant remember the last time someone ever asked if we need help. All you guys are doing is complaining when nothing on this street is perfect, Yes our house isn't perfect with white fences, flowers, and flag poles. If you have a problem with the grass or anything on our property, then why don't you offer to help? I mean isn't that what neighbors are for? obviously we have someone living here that is handicapped so a lot of stuff isn't gonna get done. We try and do our best with improving our house. But that doesn't mean its gonna be perfect. Everyone on this street only want to be nosy when they see an ambulance outside or see one of my friends walk in the house. Another thing is you guys say you have "issues" with yelling because ive heard plenty of screaming coming from 22 Beverly Drive but you don't see me going out of my way to write all about it over the internet.. I understand people have bad days and so should everyone else. So honestly if you were trying to make this a "better neighborhood" you offer a hand instead of saying all this BS.

Do not attack 22 Beverly dr as we arent the ones posting. What we do in our home is our buisness and as you do in your home. If you want to discuss some things my door is always open. I will tell you face to face the problems i have i do not hide behind this website, so id appreciate it if you dont post my address and info on here thank you!

I happen to know the people who live at 22 Beverly Dr. they are lovely people. If reprimanding their kid for wrong doing is yelling, then perhaps you should stop over and let them know exactly how you feel. See how far you get. As a matter of in fact, I have known the husband for a very long time and have seen him in his truck, remove snow from your driveway more than a few times. Even witnessed him put up a new net for your illegal basketball hoop. They are great people. They have no problem picking up the trash that comes from your yard and disposing of it properly. Have you expressed a thank you to them for helping their neighbors? If not, then perhaps you should.. You really think they care about an ambulance parked in front of your house? He is a Lieutenant with the fire department and is an EMT. He has radio's, my dear. I even think he brings extra popcorn balls for all the kids in the neighborhood every year. I am not sure I fully understand your argument here. You shouldn't pass judgement on them as I really don't think they are your problem.

This back and forth with what seems to be with a child is saddening to me. Clearly this family has fallen on hard times and for a child to act in this way they are struggling. I was raised that You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Rather then kick this family while they are down I shall be knocking on their door to see if I can help them this coming holiday weekend. I hope that others will stop engaging in unproductive verbal debate with a teenager and offer a troubled family in our community support, because that's the type of neighbourhood I want to live in.

I think everyone should stay out of their life. Especially if your just gonna make things worst for them.

Folks, I think we are getting out of hand here with this matter. I reside at 22 Beverly Dr. I find it disturbing that we have gone from a blight matter to practically a neighbor dispute over people making false accusations. Funny thing is we haven't even contributed anything to blog in the first place. UNTIL NOW!! We work all day and very long hours. If I have or had a problem with anyone, I certainly would be knocking on your door without any hesitation. Has that happened? NO! I have sympathy for the handicap and enjoy the sounds of children playing. Which is why I chose to move into this neighborhood. I am not sure who is behind this or how we are being targeted in this. I thank you (block watch) for the kind words on my behalf. However, I do not seek a thank you nor look for an argument for what I or my family does for anyone. We have been very good to everyone in the neighborhood. Whether it be from snow removal to grass cutting to whatever anyone has needed. It's neighbors, helping neighbors. I have worked in the emergency services for many years. Seeing an ambulance, police car or fire truck in the neighborhood, does nothing for me. To be called nosey, is far fetched. Granted, I may know those responding to whatever your emergency may be. However, we can careless what your emergency maybe, unless asked to act upon. I take great pride and work very hard to keep my property clean and well maintained. Certainly, don't avoid us because we are yelling at our kid or being little loud. I will do whatever It takes, to protect and keep my family our of harms way and danger. As my wife has previously stated, our door is open to anyone who would chooses to discuss this matter any further. I do not wish to partake in this childish, finger pointing, hopeless online forums. Wave and say hello.. Otherwise don't bother..
