Service Request #339258 has been forwarded to the East Maintenance Center for the repair of the pothole. The storm drain issue was forwarded to the Metro Stormwater division for review. For further questions or concerns, contact Public Works Customer Service at 862-8750.

Sounds like thunder everytime this area is hit by a truck, car, and especially an 18-wheeler...frequently it's an 18-wheeler. Heavy traffic on this road, still not fixed as of 10-14-2012

As of 01-15-2013, this is still not fixed. The hole is getting bigger and the noise is getting louder. It is also causing parts to come off of vehicles---I found a mud flap with the steel rod still attached in my front yard recently. 18-wheelers are especially loud when they hit this spot. I did see some TDOT trucks drive slllooowwwlly by this recently...but they did not stop!! you can't get the full impact driving over this slowly, and normal traffic goes by at 55 mph at a minimum. Please help before someone gets hurt!!

As of 10-11-13 this is still not fixed nor addressed. It gets worse all the time. Big sigh on this format of reporting issues to get them fixed. Hole/Sink is louder all the time, even rattles the windows in the house if someone is going particularly fast. Eventually the right person will hit it and it will get fixed. At least I know where it is so I can avoid it.

Notified the TDOT maintenance division at 350-4400 due to this being a state route.

So the pic doesn't do it justice, but hopefully you will see where the concrete is compromised in the line, then where the road has sunk down. Gets worse all the time. It is more impactful to hear it, or worse feel it. Maybe if the 'right' person hits it and does enough damage to their vehicle, that will make a difference. I continue to find pieces of things---brake pad, mud flap with the steel piece still attached and am sure it's from hitting this spot in the road at a high rate of speed. I didn't attach a pic of the grate. This issue has been open for so long--700+ days---so if this one doesn't prompt someone's interest to come out and address it, then another picture won't either. I will leave this issue open for now, but will forget it the next time I am asked to make the open or close choice. See Click Fix does not work--or hasn't for me.
