This section of the street is popular by walkers. In winters it is one way but many drivers violate and drive through it. It is a huge disaster to happen. It is just a couple of 100 feet of extension to the sidewalk. Violating drivers, drive fast as they know that they are breaking the law and they want to quickly get it over. I wrote about it several months ago and it was ignored totally. If something happens, the door will open for legal suit agaisnt the city. It is an easy and fairly inexpensive remedy.
