Description
There are around 20 families that I know of with toddlers and babies who walk these roads up and down. Lee street has cars going in excess of 80mph sometimes due to it being a cut through and no house address is on this street.
Can we get some speed bumps to stop these college students and random cars from speeding, before someone gets hit?
This is also the problem on Maple street.
I don't feel safe walking with my child down these two roads, even though it is a nice walk sometimes.
Neighbors have come up with solutions on all these parallel running streets by parking their cars just close enough, on opposite sides of the road, to allow a car, to slow down and squeeze by. However, this is not helpful during the day when no one is home.
Hope this is insightful and produces a much better community experience for Macon-Bibb.
Thanks
