No not legal. It was reported as parked on street and since it is on private property so PD can not give them a ticket. Trespassing was also reported in this case and I do believe that is what they are saying is it is not trespassing because they had permission from the owner. In order for the abandoned vehicle to be investigated on private property it must be done by code enforcement. Reporting this can be done by choosing the private property tab on the abandoned vehicle report or through the House Code Violation in 311.

I don't believe the property owner owns the property all the way to the wall. There is an easement and alley according to city zoning. This is why the trashcans are not allowed to be next to the wall. Please refer to the zoning department.

It does not seem as if the city workers involved here are reading the discussion. No they are not reading it and I do not think they care. The only way to hold the city accountable and have these individuals properly trained is to Email or call the upper management or directors. Parking, Municipal Development Director (Parking Enforcement), Planning Director (Code Enforcement), Albuquerque Police, and possibly the are in question Police Commander. The more people that do this the more they will be held accountable.
