Decision packages for new lockers have been brought forward to Council more than once for consideration. A decision package will be brought forward again to Council to be considered for the 2025 budget year.

Staff are aware of the aging lockers and unfortunately replacement parts for the lockers coin-operated locking mechanisms have become obsolete; therefore, the lockers are no longer able to be repaired when the components break. Replacement of the lockers was not approved during the 2024 budget deliberations; however, the lockers are in the 10-Year Capital Plan for year 2025 and will be put forward for Council to consider again for 2025.
