Description
The last 2 days, construction workers for the new subdivision directly east of North Point Elementary have closed the northbound right lane of 2300 West at 2100 North during morning rush hour. This makes it so that only half the number of northbound cars are able to go through the intersection. Traffic already backs up pretty bad with the 2100 North 2300 West intersection being at failure levels during rush hour, but is twice as bad with a lane closed and only half the number of cars being able to proceed through the intersection. Can UDOT and Lehi City please require the contractor to perform the work outside of the rush hour window on weekdays or on the weekend?

I forgot to add that I did reach out to Lehi City to address this concern.
I would be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have, but did not see a contact name or number on this submission. Please feel free to call at 8012278000. In addition, here is the projects page that you can reference to understand the process of a project https://site.utah.gov/connect/projects/.
UDOT set up 2100 north in an effort to be able to create a freeway down the middle of it. Plans for the future were in place at the time this road was being built. You can refer to the 2100 North Freeway project page here: https://mountainview.udot.utah.gov/#/.
I apologize for the delay in response this issue went to central UDOT before coming to Region Three where I could respond. If you have urgent concerns please feel free to reach out by phone as that is is the fastest way to get a response. Thank you!
