Description
I have complained many times to the police and mayor's office about the high rate of speed of drivers on Whitney and the lack of respect for traffic lights and stop signs. I live near a school and worry for the safety of the students not to mention my own safety.

Short term, there is an initiative to slow down traffic coming into the city from Hamden (crossing to Edgerton Park and St. Thomas School/Church, two blocks from Hooker school). The link to this initiative is: https://seeclickfix.com/issues/2688551 . Hausladen already confirmed that at least a feedback speed sign will be installed.
