Description
Jaywalking in on 29th between Glascock and Ford is rampant. It was bad before construction started on various projects but now we also have numerous contractors jaywalking back and forth across 29th all day. There are no crosswalks here at all, but people like to use the railroad spur as if it is a crosswalk. There are several near miss pedestrian and car accidents just in the few times I come in and out of the neighborhood everyday. This is a seriously dangerous situation with drivers from Alameda that treat all of 29th, Ford and 23rd like one long freeway on-ramp. We need speed signs, one of those electronic speed signs that flashes, a crosswalk and some jaywalking enforcement. Help!
