Hopefully not comparable to the city signage running un-uniformed through the entire store fronts of the city center. Every proprietor on Main Street is flying their own plane with signage that looks like a VALLEY WIDE TAG SALE with no parallel to the classic look of the buildings.

PLEASE tell me we can deal with the blighted factory buildings making downtown Ansonia look like war zone before complaining about the sign on a library or that Main Street storeowners are not using "uniform design" for their signage as if this was Westport. PRIORITIES PEOPLE!

That is a absolute "Give-Me" and No-Brainer, Mr. Mike Raymond.
It is progress as the demo teams snail pace cleanup on the unseen American Brass structures deep inside the bowels of the entire factory complex’s while the potential visitors to the city use the main by-pass to absorb a true visual Armageddon hurting Ansonia's multiple downtown revival attempts. Nothing downtown will improve until the entire area is brought back to a grassy open lot as was 400 years ago not to mention the NEGATIVE affects to ALL DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILES and QUALITY OF LIFE in the city. As Farrell Corp. pulls out of the corner of Main and North Main not only will that mess get worse before better they irresponsibly contribute to accepting the striped lands and wooded development which was once pristine water company forestry sold off by economic challenges only to meet the same demise later in the city’s life-time creating the same error twice.
