We closed the issue because the property was found to be in compliance. Two issues were reported.
1) The trash bag that was there for a day was removed by a property manager Monday.
2) There is a piece of indoor furniture on the side porch as you indicated. That is not a violation of Burlington City Ordinances.
The relevant section of the ordinance is below and specifically names the "front" porch area:
The following materials or items shall not be stored, kept, maintained, deposited or allowed to remain outdoors and in plain view in either the front yard of any property or on front porch that is not fully enclosed.......
