There are three trees on the berm of my property. The roots are causing the sidewalks to crack and dead branches are falling. One branch hit my car(no damage) and another time a branch hit the corner of my fence causing damage.

Thank you for submitting your concern to the City of Detroit. This message is to acknowledge receipt of the issue you reported. The two Maples have been noted in the street inventory and will be addressed as resources are available. The sidewalk issue can be directed to the Street Engineers in the DPW DEPT which is their jurisdiction. We work closely with them as to if they need Forestry to remove the tree to fix the sidewalk they will contact us.
