I've seen this on the shore of Lake Merritt for a week now. It's in the trees, about third yards east of the beach right on the edge of the lake. Didn't know you could camp at LM!

Camping is not allowed but the city simply overlooks it. How many are not living in an or around the lake 50, 100, If the statistic's I am looking at are right there could be more than 15,000 homeless in Oakland. There is about 160,000 in Calif alone. This a complete fail by all of our Gov agencies.
Oakland seems to have other priorities than dealing with the homeless. It's a shame they are going to continue letting them camp on a place that is for all. But let them do it and Oakland can be disgraced more than it already is.
