I was walking down 17 1/2 mile road today when a tree immediately beside the road began making loud cracking noises: it seems primed to break into the road (it would land right into the NW-bound lane of traffic). The tree is on the north side of the road, almost directly across the street from the road sign that reads "Watch your speed, we are."
