Until city leaders and advocates start waking up instead of making excuses, the city of Oakland is going to allow the homeless to do whatever they want. They have no solutions and the rest of us are suppose to put up with it. Excuses need to stop now. I've written the mayor and W Oakland city council member and no response. The homeless are out of control and city leaders just don't get it.

City needs to be more vigilant about this, a barbecue could start a a significnat fire as things are so dry.

Evidently a BBQ and fire is not on the top priority list.

City of Oakland Public Works Department addressed this issue on 01/25/2016, service request # 589074.

So it took over 4 months to deal with this, or Say u did. Hope someone can confirm this.
