I have nearly been sideswiped MANY times heading north on 7th when the person in the left turn lane attempts to go straight. For safety sake please paint lines through the intersection directing left turn traffic!

I agree 100% with the other comment. There should be lines for the left hand turn through the intersection, and lines for going straight. There should also be an actual left hand turn light. This is an inherently dangerous intersection (2 accidents just last week; one with people taken away in ambulances). I'm amazed that this hasn't been addressed before. Thank you!

p.s. I want to underscore that this intersection is heavily used by kids going to nearby schools. The odds of child getting hit during an accident or even near-miss are way too high.
