This property has been reported in the past for cars parked all over front yard and in back yard and no house number on home. Wooden gate to back yard is in disrepair and frequently hangs open. There are many homes on this section of road that can't fit their cars on their drive. Thinking they are renting houses that aren't large enough to meet their needs to save some money

This is a classic example of why homeowners fear "renters." This house, whose owners live in South Dakota, has had 27 codes violations in 24 years, one-third under the current owners. They paid a civil citation for the last one, in October, but apparently all they did was pay the fine, not fix the problem. Time for the city to lower a heavy boom on these folks. The Association will send the owners a letter requesting that they have more respect for their neighbors, and requests that those living nearby continue to report violations. (And Fed Up is right - this whole block needs some serious attention - 5386 is not the only offender.)
