Deepening rut in right half of eastbound lane starting in front of Arbor Park and extending 200 yeards east past Ellington Fire House. Getting in and out of my driveway is becoming an issue.

Sounds like a growing problem. Best thing to do is contact Public Works Director George Fetko 860-870-3140.

Generally these folks are pretty good about getting out to fix things if you contact them directly. Let me know if you don't get a response.

That's excellent. Thanks for the report and for helping to improve your community.
A resurfacing project is something that would probably need to be included in the town's budget deliberations rather than via special request to the Public Works Department. Very expensive process. If you'd like that to be done or feel that it really needs to be done, I would ask Mr. Fetko to include the work in his annual budget request.
