Good morning, Sir or Madam

I am emailing you from my apartment on Elm Street at 4am.

For the last 45 minutes I have been listening to the back up beepers of the truck and bulldozer moving very small snow piles from the street. (Honestly I could have done it by now with a shovel)

While I appreciate their removal, is it really necessary to have the beepers engaged at this hour? I have a 14 hour day ahead of me that will need to begin in 2 hours and really would have appreciated a little consideration.

For future night jobs such as this, perhaps the beeper could be turned off in the name of compassion for the downtown residents.
