I pulled some images from Google StreetView on this. It does look like the arrows painted on the street get faded, which could definitely cause the issues described above. Here's the Apr 2012 view...

And the view from October 2017. Looks like the arrows may need re-painted again.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I issued Service Request 1123631859 for the arrows to be re-painted.

I work and park my car at the Pine Street deck across from the Emory parking deck. I have almost been in several car accidents here because the cars in the turn right or left lanes come straight across instead of being in the middle lane for going straight. Also, this is not good because of the Metro buses and the crowd at that intersection of the Civic Center Marta rail. It is dangerous just going as well as leaving the deck. Add the pedestrians walking to/from the MARTA, Metro bus and decks to/from the hospital...it can be a nightmare.

Yes, Re-Paint the arrows boldly so they can be seen in all weather conditions. The Left lane tends to flood when it rains causing the drivers to use the middle lane as their turning lane as well.

Hi Audrey. We pulled up the request in our system and it shows they came out to re-paint those arrows back in September. We have resubmitted the issue via Service Request 1141268089 so that they can come back out.

Still needs to be improved. I see cars on a daily basis going the wrong way out of the wrong lane - i.e. going straight out of the right turn lane forcing the car in the middle straight line to have to swerve out of the way to avoid getting hit. This intersection is one of the dumbest in Atlanta!!!! How about putting signs with arrows up ABOVE the lanes too instead of just painting arrows on the street that disappear when it rains.

Good morning, DP and thanks for the update! We issued Service Request 1156930154 for signs to be installed above the intersection.

Still no signs above the lanes....I continue to go out of my way to avoid that intersection.

Also, the entire intersection floods every time it rains.

Good morning, DP and thanks for reaching out. We have escalated Service Request 1156930154 for the signs and pavement markings to the Department of Public Works and have issued Service Request 1163175446 for the storm drains in the intersection to be checked and cleared of any possible blockages.

Still not fixed.....

Good morning, DP. We looked in our system and see that Service Request 1156930154 was closed with notes that an arrow was painted. We have resubmitted the issue via Service Request 1165524290, advising that the signage still needs to be placed, and escalated it to the Department of Public Works for resolution. Service Request 1163175446 was also closed with notes that the crew went out the same day and cleared the debris.The issue has been resubmitted via Service Request 1165524313 for them to go back out and attend to the drains in that area.
