Staff has monitored this location, including crash data from the most recent 3 years history, field investigation and sight distance. The sight distances were measured and satisfied the required criteria set forth by the Federal Highway Administration “Signalized Intersection: Information Guide” (FHWA-SA-13-027). NCDOT has also fully adopted these guidelines as standards. Staff does not recommend signalization of this location at this time.
