The difference between the two is that most construction/repair projects do not last over 4.5 consecutive months! Not to mention the year after year of summer-long repairs to the bridge.

you think they could at least up keep the detour road in hazeldale, its never looked after before for the last couple years the detours were put up and its not maintained now that there is even more traffic . tried contacting greg dionne numerous times over the years never have seen any action so not looking forward to Dionne or scarrow becoming mayor because never seen them do anything for westflat or hazeldale. just seen publicity stunts for raiders, hospital, ``so called bridge innitiatives lol, and all sorts of other things that do not help average person

No doubt marc. the city enjoys collecting taxes but does NOTHING for the community. they cant even grade the streets, let alone gravel or otherwise. i tried contacting Dionne several times about the roads and got no response. i know who i wont be voting for. how about some signage on the detour road? how about regualar maintenance? if it is going to be a permanent detour - how about some pavement. the dust through Hazeldell is ridiculous. how do we get things done? I'd say change cant be worse than what we already have!
