Hi Ben. I'm trying to figure out if we should integrate seeclickfix into our online paper, The Falls Church Times. You are the 1st to post problems from our area.
can i ask a couple questions?
- Why did you come here (how did you find this site)?
- what do you hope will happen from your comment?
- would "just making it more public" be useful?
Yes, I read the times and it would be great to integrate the SCF widget.
I would hope this is the best channel to alert the party resposible for fixing it (in this case city parks and rec). I would also expect other watchdog groups and the local media to highlight major issues.
Ben and other readers: if you have concerns about City of Falls Church government programs, services and issues, you can contact the City directly by clicking on "contact us" on the City web site, www.fallschurchva.gov, or email info@fallschurchva.gov or call 703-248-5004.
Graffiti that was painted on playground equipment in Big Chimneys Park has been removed but graffiti that was scratched or carved onto surfaces will have to be painted. Anyone who sees graffiti on park equipment --- or any other concern -- can report it directly to the City for quick response: click on "contact us" on the City web site, www.fallschurchva.gov, or email info@fallschurchva.gov or call 703-248-5004. While "The Daily Gripe" says this complaint was reported more than 100 days ago, the Washington Post only launched this feature recently. City Recreation and Parks staff patrols the City's 10 parks daily and any graffiti that appears on park equipment is usually removed within a day or two.
