Description

This is a kids Park that is in horrible condition. Today we found old sofa cushions and other materials from the homeless community that is storing stuff in the surrounding tree area. Also found rusty button with pin needle sticking up in wood chips. The bigger frog Park gets more attention than this park. At this point it is hazardous to small children!

Public Works,please pick up this junk form the park immediately. The longer it stays there, the more people will create an encampment.

Oakland needs to realize that the homeless should not be allowed to camp in city parks. Where do public rights lie with the city. They need to realize that the homeless have more than sofa cushions lying around ...

Since we have multiple children and have lived in this neighborhood for 10 years we've seen a lot change. What is disappointing is that spaces for children are not properly tended to - about 5 years ago this park was a nice spot for toddlers - now it is a dump. Safe, clean areas for kids! Come on Oakland! Come on Temescal!
