The City has no control over a property owner that fails to maintain their property?? Is Union Pacific some sort autonomous entity that is exempt from COH ordinance and enforcement? What a ridiculous statement. And if UP has addressed previous direct complaints then I obviously would not have had to report this issue to COH.

So the same city that makes its citizens mow their lawn if it gets too tall (and will fine you if you don't), apply for permits to pour a concrete driveway, charge ridiculously high poroperty taxes doesn't have any say so what UP Railroad does through their own city? Please, what a weak attempt to ignore the problem. I agree with TDE, this problem has been going on too long. Many of us have tried to contact (phone calls and voicemails) District H members Danita and Gloria with no, zero response. It will take someone getting hurt before something gets accomplished.

Well have you tried to report it to UP?
It's a start because I also had the same problem and the only thing I did was call them and file a complaint about high weeds and they told me that they'll bring someone out there to investigate that issue.
I mean This wasn't a weak response just trying to help me help you.

As I stated previously, I have made many attempts to contact UP over the years. They will occasionally send a crew to mow, but it is usually once every two years at the most. That is not only unacceptable, it is illegal and should be enforced by COH. The community has to tolerate enough inconvenience with the trains. The least they could do is maintain their property.

Ok well lets see what the city says about this.
For the trains being a inconvenience it's really not since I like them.
