Deskripsyon

This area has the worst light timing of anywhere in Santa Rosa, especially given the traffic flow here. The city says they will install sensors for the lights so actual traffic, rather than assumed flow, will actuate signals, but only after the In-N-Out Burger goes in. Why not DO IT NOW? People sit at these lights for minutes with no other traffic around. Frustration and honking drivers is what those who live here have to deal with from this. It's not right!

Kudos to the city for ensuring that those going to In-N-Out get multiple lights and long ones. How about lengthening the time for the side street lights? How about installing a right turn light (or NO right turn light) for those going South on Administration to turn West onto Steele? They fill up all the lanes going Westbound on Steele Lane so that the self-centered, unaware of the world around them drivers coming from the Junior College all block up the center of the intersection because their light is of too short duration to get more than four cars completely through the intersection when it is unblocked. It's amazing there isn't a police presence here multiple times a day as the city's revenue could be increased tenfold from tickets issued at this intersection all by itself!!! Perhaps it would help if signs were posted reminding people it is ILLEGAL to block an intersection.
